Why use the P-Wave Urinal Deodoriser?

Why would you want to use a urinal deodoriser is a very good question, and why use the P-Wave?

P-Wave in Urinal

Ocean Mist P-Wave in Urinal

Urinals, often called splash backs (there’s a clue in there somewhere) often cause urine to ‘splash’ out onto the surrounding area. This may land on the floor, on the dividing screens or even on the person using the urinal!

Urine on the floor often gets into grout between tiles and then is difficult to remove by general cleaning, this causes bad smells that can linger. Uric acid will also damage floor finishes, which can be seen by dull floor finishes under and around urinals.

P-Wave anti splash fingers

P-Wave anti splash fingers

The P-Wave Urinal Deodoriser is designed with anti-splash fingers which break the stream of urine on contact preventing splash. No splash means less cleaning and less chance of residual smells coming from floors. A better experience for the customer.

A build up of uric acid in the drain and trap is also one cause of smell in a urinal. Even in waterless urinals where a special sealed trap is fitted, smells can emanate.

The P-Wave Urinal Deodoriser releases optimised bacteria that break down the causes of smells in drains and traps, reducing bad smells emanating from them. Again this helps create a better customer experience.

How does the fragrance last so long? The fragrance in the P-Wave Urinal Deodoriser lasts for thirty days because there is a lot of fragrance in it! With old vinyl screens companies tried to add fragrance but they had to be made by a hot moulded process and most of the fragrance evaporated in manufacture. The P-Wave is manufactured in a cold process so we manage to keep all the fragrance in.

As the fragrance is within the product it is slowly released at a pretty even rate through the thirty days. This leaves the Urinal area smelling fresh and clean, adding to a better customer experience again!

What about sustainability? The P-Wave uses a lot less energy to manufacture than vinyl screens or many other air fresheners or urinal deodorisers due to the process of manufacture. The P-Wave Urinal Deodoriser can be recycled and go back into the production of other recyclable plastic products.
Just a few reasons why P-wave urinal deodorisers are a good choice.

Double Podium for Tommy Hill!

Tommy Hill Donington ParkSwan Yamaha’s Tommy Hill scored a double podium finish for the fifth consecutive round by earning a second and third place finish at the ninth round of the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship at Donington Park today.

In both races Hill battled with his main title rivals to finish in second and third places as the defending champion continues to lead the standings by ten points ahead of the first round of the Showdown at Assen in two weeks’ time. Noriyuki Haga fought through the pain of his collarbone injury, but missed out on scoring points in race one by finishing in 21st position. In race two the team worked hard on making some setting changes which gave him a boost that saw him fighting inside the top ten until dropping to twelfth over the closing stages.

Hill said: “Two podiums were what we needed today and it is nice to have a bit of a lead in the standings going in to the Showdown at Assen. You can’t pay too much attention to it though as anything can happen. Cadwell Park was my weekend to do the double and this weekend it was Josh Brookes. It has been a bit frustrating for us as we wanted to try and come away with two double wins but we still have that ten points over Josh so hopefully we can keep pushing on and come out on top at Assen. We have been struggling all weekend but we made a big change this morning, then we managed to pull something out of the bag.”  read more….

Double Podium for Hill at Brands

Tommy Hill at Brands

Defending MCE Insurance British Superbike champion Tommy Hill scored a double podium finish at the seventh round of the season today at his home round of Brands Hatch in Kent whilst Noriyuki Haga took a sole fifth place.

In the opening race of the day Hill initially struggled with a clutch issue that dropped him down the order and the reigning champion then put in a determined ride to move back up the order to fourth. Haga had been running in a solid third place until a mistake on the final lap at Graham Hill Bend saw him crash out of contention. The crash for the Japanese rider elevated Hill to third and adding another podium credit to his tally ahead of the Showdown.

Hill then fought hard for a third place in race two as he closed in on eventual race winner Shane Byrne and second placed Josh Brookes. At his home circuit Hill was unable to push any harder and settled for third whilst Haga’s side of the garage had worked hard to repair his Swan Yamaha for him to fight to fifth. Read more….

Hill Wins 3 at Outlon Park

Tommy Hill, Winner Again

Swan Yamaha’s Tommy Hill claimed a sensational triple race win at the sixth round of the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship at Oulton Park to extend his advantage in the overall standings and secure a valuable nine podium credits.

Hill had taken the victory in the opening race Saturday and in the second race of the weekend he scored a commanding win before making it a hat trick in the third and final race to score the maximum amount of podium credits. Haga took a strong fifth position in the second race following an intense battle with Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne and Michael Laverty, but just missed out on a podium finish in the final race when he was forced to settle for fourth after he was passed at the final corner.

Hill said: “It was a tough second race no matter how much you are in front as you have to keep pushing. I tried to settle down but that is when you start making mistakes and you cannot underestimate anyone. I made a few errors towards the end of the second race but it set us up well for the final race. To have won three races was fantastic as it was my first hat-trick in the series. It is just great to come out on top but now I have a flight to catch to get out to Suzuka. I didn’t ease up in the last race as I definitely had a target on my back as they all wanted to beat me. They kept me honest out there and I had to ride as hard as I could across the whole weekend but I was determined and it is great to head to my home round at Brands Hatch carrying this momentum.” read more
